Youth Programs
Big feelings deserve skilled support.
What youth programs entail
Teenage years compress enormous change — identity, friendships, academics, social media, and future pressure — into a few short years. Our youth programs give teens and young adults (ages 13–24) a private space with a therapist who speaks their language, literally and emotionally.
Parents are partners, not bystanders: we share progress themes (never private details) and coach families on supporting change at home. School collaboration is available when helpful.
What's included
Programs flex with age and need, and typically include:
- Emotion coaching — naming feelings and riding out big ones safely
- School and exam-pressure strategies that protect sleep and confidence
- Friendship and bullying support, including social-media boundaries
- Self-esteem building through strengths, creativity, and small wins
Our process
First: Welcome. Teens meet their therapist alone first — trust comes before paperwork. Then: Skills. Weekly 45-minute sessions mix talking with activities, journals, and real-life experiments. Alongside: Family. Regular parent check-ins translate progress into calmer homes.
Benefits families notice
Doors stop slamming quite so often. Grades stabilize, sleep improves, and teens start using words for feelings instead of acting them out. Parents tell us they finally understand what's happening inside — and know how to help.
